چکیده
Background: Embryo transfer is one of the most commonly used reproductive biotechnique. The success embryo also affected by synchrony estrus and ovulation between donor recipient animals. In horse reproduction, ultrasonography has been used, among other purposes, to diagnose early pregnancy. However, only color Doppler imaging mode makes it possible evaluate vascular architecture hemodynamic aspects vessels in several organs, especially corpus luteum. objective this study was evaluate, based on ultrasound, luteum vascularization function from mares at timing.Materials, Methods & Results: Mangalarga Machador 5 10-year-old a range live weights 350 450 kg were for experiment, kept pasture-based mombaça grass (Panicum maximum) given ad libitum access water mineral supplementation. animals (n = 15) gynecologically examined uterine consistency evaluated rectal palpation same operator using an ultrasound system (SonoScape®) with linear transducer, operating frequency ranging 10 Mhz. tone classified grades 1 4 subjected induction. subjective perfusion day endometrium. determination progesterone concentration performed direct chemiluminescence assay. arcsine (√P/100) transformation applied percentage data, results expressed as mean (.) ± standard error (SEM). Further, assumptions normality homoscedasticity verified, respectively, Shapiro-Wilk Lilliefors tests. Regarding parametric non-parametric variables, applied, analysis variance (ANOVA) followed Tukey’s test, Kruskal-Wallis test Dunn’s test. Pearson’s correlation coefficient relationship parameters. statistical program SPSS 16.0 perform over-mentioned analyses, p-value < 0.05 taken significant. Corpus perfusion, evaluation methods, higher pregnant (P 0.05). methods positively correlated themselves well There no significant difference groups considering tonus > 0.05).Discussion: Mares that later became showed outcome It can be supported both values mares. Based results, concluded accurate tool determine vascularization, whether or methods. Also, efficient parameter predict ability maintain

Identification of microRNAs in corpus luteum of pregnancy in buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) by deep sequencing
This study was aimed to identify miRNAs of corpus luteum (CL) in buffaloes during pregnancy. For this study, CL (n=2) were collected from gravid uteri of buffalo and RNA was isolated. Following this, the purity and integrity of RNA was checked and used for deep sequencing using Illumina Hiseq 2500 platform. The reads’ quality was checked prior to in silico analyses viz. identification of conser...
متن کاملColor Doppler ultrasound evaluation of testicular blood flow in stallions.
The objectives of this study were to evaluate the potential use of color Doppler ultrasound to characterize blood flow to the stallion testis, and to establish reference values for Doppler measures of blood flow in the testicular artery of the stallion. Both testes from each of 52 horses were examined using a pulsed-wave color Doppler ultrasound with a sector array 5/7.5 MHz transducer with a 1...
متن کاملCorpus luteum blood flow evaluation on Day 21 to improve the management of embryo recipient herds.
The aim of the present study was to use blood flow evaluation of the CL at 14 days after embryo transfer to detect nonpregnant animals and optimize the management of bovine recipients. The estrous cycle was synchronized in 165 recipients, and the day of expected ovulation was considered to be Day 0. Embryo transfer was performed 7 days later, on Day 7. On Day 21, pregnancy was diagnosed on the ...
متن کاملProlonging Function of the Corpus Luteum to Suppress Estrus in Mares
The orally active synthetic progestin altrenogest is widely considered to be the “gold-standard” method of inhibiting estrous behavior in mares. However, its expense, need for long-term daily administration, safety concerns for personnel during handling, and increased public scrutiny regarding the use of exogenous steroids in performance horses have collectively prompted interest in the develop...
